Styled shoots are some of my favorite days to photograph. Being on 'set' for hours at a time reminds me of my days working in the magazine industry. My job now as a wedding photographer is so different, but the more things change, the more they stay the same. My absolute favorite part of styled shoots is the opportunity to meet a superb group of vendors. This job gets lonely. Most of us work from home, so when the opportunity arises for us to meet some likeminded creatives, the energy (at least from me) is a combination of when Jessie took caffeine pills on that fateful episode of Saved by the Bell and your dog when he has his head out the window when you're doing 45 down the freeway.
